An Osprey Kayak Tour

on Lake Coeur d'Alene

Join Birds of Prey NW and ROW Adventures for an interesting and educational kayak tour on July 7, 2010. 

We have joined with one of the World's premier adventure companies, ROW Adventures, to allow you to observe Osprey nesting areas in Lake Coeur d'Alene by kayak.  Kayaks are the ideal way to get close to osprey nests without alarming the birds.  We will observe active Osprey nests in Cougar Bay.  These nests will have young Osprey present and we may get to see the parents feeding their young.

The Tour is being run by ROW Adventures, who will supply the kayaks and all needed gear.  ROW will supply a tour leader and Jane Cantwell of Birds of Prey NW will be paddling with you to provide a wealth of information about these "fishing eagles".

This fund-raising event will support much needed raptor rehabilitation, education and conservation right here in our community. Birds of Prey Northwest is supported by donations, memberships and grants.
